Peace Activism & Advocacy

Join the many global voices calling for permanent ceasefires and ending war and genocides!

We are forming an umbrella group for peace-focused people and organizations to share trustworthy news about peace efforts and group conflict situations.

Activism for Peace

We are an anti-conflict organization (anti-war, anti-violence) currently focused on bringing light to the genocide against Palestinians that has taken place over the past three quarters of a century.

We provide a platform of vetted/verified news for individuals and other peace groups, we notify decision-makers in government who may be unaware of the effects of their policies on people in conflict zones, and we propose solutions such as adherence to national and international law that will help groups of people enact non-violent solutions to impending conflict.

“There cannot be peace in the Middle East without giving Palestinians their full rights.” — Mohammed Morsi

Past and Current Agenda

EFFORTS

Through generating content and reposting on social media, we have brought attention to: reports from people in the midst of the conflict in Gaza, the efforts of other organizations such as Code Pink and Jewish Voices for Peace, Middle East Eye, Double Down News and Zeteo News, and Middle East policies of Josh Paul, former Director in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs at the State Department.

CAMPAIGNS

Through letter-writing campaigns we attempted to sway federal public officials and candidates to public office to take a public stance against genocide, including a leading presidential candidate. Our members include former public officials who resigned in protest of Administration policy.

PLATFORMS

We developed a platform expressing support for national and International Human Rights Law (IHL), demonstrating plausible violations of such law by the USA and other nation-states.

SERVICES

With former members of the Intelligence community on board, AVP provides breaking news that is verified, vetted and trustworthy.

“Peace is the work of justice indirectly, in so far as justice removes the obstacles to peace; but it is the work of charity (love) directly, since charity, according to its very notion, causes peace.” Thomas Aquinas

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe it. And it isn’t enough to believe it.
One must work at it.” Eleanor Roosevelt
